Edo State Election Tribunal Results:
Confirmed. we just saw this on the TV, NTA Benin and ITV Benin. Adams Oshiomhole has been declared winner over Prof. Osunbor by Edo State Election Tribunal. I expect Osunbor will appeal. And I saw this coming.
NTA Benin: Oshiomhole to be given certificate of Return for “Having scored the highest number of lawful votes”
AC had six SANs on their case.
The PDP Lawyer says that they will appeal.
Barr Iziyon of PDP: Listening to the 6 hour judgement, we know that we have very good grounds to appeal that judgement. We have grievances against the judgement.

I praise the incorruptible judges of Edo state election tribunal for for they had not only given judgement but the right justice. Ecpecially not calling for another election but returning Adams Oshinmole as duly elected governor of Edo state. This is in tandem not only with the evidence before the tribunal but also with people’s wish and mandate freely given to Oshinmole by Edo electorate on April 14th, 2007.Nigerians both home and abroad and not only edo people are today celebrating this another victory for democracy.I’m personally very happy!
